Gestures of the Facade originates in the ornamental language of façades, architectural fragments and decorative structures. Supporting forms, niches, rosettes and ornamental elements were long connected to buildings: they supported, adorned, marked and strengthened the architecture they were part of.

Within this series, such elements are detached from their serving role. The ornament no longer has to carry weight, mark an entrance or complete a façade. It becomes an independent gesture: a form that seems to break away from the wall, opens itself toward the space and claims its own presence.

The works balance between architectural fragment and autonomous object. They recall façades, entrances, walls and monumental details, but no longer function as part of a larger building. Instead, they become carriers of expression, movement and theatrical presence.

The surface of the works carries traces of their making. Digital form movements, faceted surfaces, ceramic material and layered finishes are not fully smoothed away, but remain part of the image. In the play between colour, gloss, matte surfaces and visible material, the object becomes a captured frame of the process: a fusion of digital craft, human gesture and ceramic reality.

Gestures of the Facade gives new meaning to ornament: not as decoration or support, but as a sculptural entity with its own body, skin and gesture. The series shows a shift from serving ornament to autonomous sculptural presence.
